Ryan Prize for Community Service 2020

The Ryan Prize for Community Service was established to honor the Ryans’ generous commitment to volunteer service on behalf of Northwestern University and the Chicago community.

The Ryan Prize for Community Service will honor a graduating senior who exemplifies leadership and service through participation in university and community activities. Because Northwestern greatly values the Ryans’ extraordinary example of volunteerism and commitment to community, this prize and its recipient will be prominently recognized by the university.

The Ryan Prize winner will be awarded $1,000 and recognized during the Honors Ceremony as part of commencement activities. You are required to be participate at the ceremony (details TBA as virtual plans get worked out.)

Finalists for the Ryan Prize may be contacted and for a 20 minute interview with the selection committee on May 22nd.

Applications will close on Tuesday, May 19 at 11:59pm. You will be notified if you are a finalist by May 21, 2020.
